Industrial Music Collides with Recovery In a Refreshing Way

Industrial music has nearly always been more rebellious, however that is evolving. There is this really upbeat recovery rock I came across by Matt Soren the other day that has a different perspective on electro-rock. His new album is a mix of industrial rock and the concept of knocking out addiction.

There are some song previews on his website at www.inspiringrock.com. It sounds like the mixes are raw versions while wrapping up official recordings. They sound high quality to me but that’s just me. It is cool to see more electro-rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more kickin way from someone that has already been through it and is making a difference for others. Also It’s nice to see this type of rock arising from the industrial genre which is normally more archaic in nature. Nice!
